Smartsat offers two kinds of installations. Free channel installations, which require no subscription and Sky Box installations.
FREE CHANNEL INSTALLATIONS
No monthly subscription or additional payments are required for any of the Free Channel installations.
FreeSat / FTA (Free to Air)
The standard Free Channel installation. For those looking for an inexpensive way to watch UK TV. Available channels include all digital BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 channels, plus all national UK radio stations. See FREE CHANNELS for more info.
FTV (Free to View)
Similar system to that above, but using a Sky digibox and offering additional free channels. See FREE CHANNELS for more info.
FreeSat HD
All the channels available with the standard FreeSat system, and also including all FreeSat HD channels
FreeSat+ HD
The future of FreeSat television. Similar technology to Sky+ HD offering all available standard and HD FreeSat channels, and incorporating an integrated hard drive allowing the user to record one channel while watching another, fast-forward, rewind and pause live TV.
SKY BOX INSTALLATIONS
SmartSat install a variety of sky box systems - the following systems are available :-
Standard Sky Digibox Installation
Standard installation using the traditional Sky box
Sky+ Digibox Installation
Pause, rewind and record all your favourite programmes onto an integrated hard drive.
Sky+ HD Digibox Installation
All the features of Sky+ and also broadcasting in HD (High Definition)
